Control cable characteristics

Control cable is suitable for industrial and mining enterprises, energy and transportation departments, for ac rated voltage below 450/750 v control, protection lines and other occasions used in PVC insulated, PVC sheathed control cable.

The control cable has the characteristics of moisture-proof, anti-corrosion and anti-damage, and can be laid in the tunnel or cable trench.

Power cables are used to transmit and distribute high-power electric energy in the main lines of the power system,and control cables directly transmit the electric energy from the distribution point of the power system to the power connection lines of various electrical equipment and appliances. The rated voltage of power cable is generally 0.6/1kV and above, and the control cable is mainly 450/750V.

The insulation and sheath thickness of power cable is thicker than that of control cable when the same specification of power cable and control cable is produced.

The differences between KVVP and RVVP

KVVP shield control cable is composed of multi-strand BV hard wire, hard structure, large body. RVVP shielded flexible cable is made of multi-stranded RV flexible cable, soft structure, small volume. KVVP shielded cable is suitable for the connection line of control, monitoring loop and protection line with voltage grade 450/750V and below, and is often used in places where electromagnetic wave interference is prevented and shielding is required.
